These safety glasses are strong enough to handle a long day’s work and classic enough to keep wearing around town.
This design was inspired by the original safety eyeglasses manufactured by American companies in the 1920s. The glasses your grandfather wore that were so iconic and so quality that you could still safely use them today.

A new heirloom design from an older time. Quality safety glasses, beautifully built to last. Pass down the look with the memories made in them.
The idea for Brass Eye started in 2017 in Chicago. While working on a project with his friend, Zack Wallace realized that every tool they had on their tool bench was beautifully designed and made to last, except their safety glasses.
Safety glasses are notoriously cheap, ugly and made to throw away. But their safety glasses were the only tool they used for 8 hours in the workshop. So why wasn’t it as quality and beautifully designed as their hand planes and drawing compasses they used?
So, he decided to start a new-old company. Where other craftsman, designers, hobbyists and professionals could have a beautiful, quality safety glass to wear, build beautiful things with and hand down to others.
Something that could get worn over time, to develop its own special scrapes and patina, so that when the next generation uses them, they're continuing a legacy.
It took almost a decade to create, design, engineer, manufacture, test and finish an iconic, industrial strength safety eyeglass but the Brass Eye Double Cross is here!
Brass Eye is the very first luxury, safety eyewear brand in the world. Where you can have style and safety at work and with each project.
The frames are made with luxury grade, natural, hypo-allergenic acetate that is incredibly durable, flexible and lightweight.
We chose acetate instead of nylon (which basically every other safety eyeglass uses) because it is light enough to wear all day, strong enough to last for years and will slowly mold to your face to create a look uniquely you.
The metal components for the hinges, internal cores and Phillips screw logo stamps are German silver.
The lens are a UV400, fog resistant, ultra light nylon.
These glasses were inspired in Chicago, designed in Denmark, tested in the foothills of Appalachia and manufactured by a close knit community at Studio 505 in the Ouhai District of Wenzhou, PRC.

Our lifetime warranty policy applies to all claims submitted. To see if you are eligible or to submit a warranty claim, follow the instructions here.
The lifetime warranty only applies to the original purchaser and covers manufacturer defects. Absolutely no warranties, refunds or replacements will be approved for user misuse, abuse, damage, destruction, neglect or lack of care.
So, if you run them over with your tractor or drop them on the driveway or hit them with an axe or leave them outside under hellish weather or shoot them with a gun or put them in a fire or lend them to a careless friend or in any other way shape or form cause the damage, that would obviously NOT qualify for a replacement.
But if we receive the item and the product itself has failed from a manufacturer error, we will absolutely approve your warranty and promptly send you a new pair!
After a hard day’s use, wipe them down, store them in their carrying case and place them in a place where they won’t get smashed, squished, kicked, bitten, stepped on, sat on, spit on or damaged in any other way.
In other words, when not using them, keep them safe but please don’t keep them secret.
